International opera stars Lise Lindstrom and Greer Grimsley return to San Diego for One Amazing Night! with the San Diego Symphony.
Lise Lindstrom graced the San Diego Opera stage as the sensuous Salome, the icy princess Turandot, and our 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert.
Greer has performed here many times since his debut in 2000 in roles such as The High Priest of Dagon in Samson and Delilah, Mephistopheles in Faust, and Jochanaan in Salome and he’ll open this season as The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance.
Join us for an evening of operatic favorites from the standard repertoire, accompanied by the San Diego Symphony.

Tango in Maria de Buenos Aires
Who knew tango...the dance and the music...was so complicated?? The origins of the tango are disputed, confused and floating somewhere in the mists of time. And different styles of tango are so different that it is difficult to come up with a nice, clean definition of the art form. Yet, when we hear a tango we know what it is! Amazing.
