Program Description:
Opera Playground brings the excitement of live opera to families with kids of all ages. Starting at 11am, kids can build their own musical instrument, decorate an opera mask, and create an opera poster at our hands-on craft stations.
At 11:45am, the excitement builds into The Wheel of Music: An Operatic Gameshow — a live, unscripted performance where the audience calls the shots. Kids take the stage to spin a series of wheels, and our professional opera singers must rise to whatever challenge comes their way. Expect surprises, laughs, and world-class singing unlike anything you’ve seen before. One thing’s for sure: no two shows are ever the same!
Registration not required but highly encouraged.
