Parking at San Diego Civic Theatre
San Diego Opera offers convenient pre-paid valet and self-parking options for performances at the San Diego Civic Theatre. Both options are located at Third Avenue and B Street, next to the Civic Concourse, and are available beginning 90 minutes prior to curtain.
Valet Parking
Valet parking is available at Third Avenue and B Street, next to the Civic Concourse. Valet service begins 90 minutes prior to curtain and may be purchased in advance for $25 from San Diego Opera. On-site purchases are available via credit card only; no cash is accepted.

Self-Parking
Prefer to park your own vehicle? Pre-paid self-parking is also available for $15 in the same underground parking facility as San Diego Opera’s valet service, located at Third Avenue and B Street next to the Civic Concourse.
Self-parking access begins 90 minutes prior to curtain. Advance purchase is recommended.
Please note: This self-parking option is not located in the Evan V. Jones Parkade at First Avenue and A Street.

Additional Parking Near San Diego Civic Theatre
Evan V. Jones Parkade
The Evan V. Jones Parkade is located at First Avenue and A Street and is a separate parking facility from the pre-paid valet and self-parking options offered by San Diego Opera.
The Parkade accommodates 1,150 parking spaces with accessible spaces on every floor. The parking fee for evening and weekend events is $15 and is subject to change. There is a height limitation of 6 feet, 8 inches for all vehicles entering the Parkade.
Additional paid parking lots are also available within walking distance of the theatre.
At the Balboa Theatre
Parking is available at the 225 Broadway Garage ($12, enter from Broadway Circle and Second Avenue) or the Horton Plaza Garage on Fourth Avenue ($10). Prices are subject to change.
To qualify for the $10 rate at Horton Plaza Garage, you must have your parking ticket validated at the theatre before you return to your vehicle. Parking for the 225 Broadway Garage may be purchased here.
