San Diego Opera Safety Protocols

At the heart of our plan is the safety and well-being of our audience, artists and staff. In compliance with current safety requirements of the State of California and the venues where we perform, San Diego Opera requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test (48 hours before event for a PCR test, 24 hours before an event for a rapid antigen test). Please make sure to bring a valid picture ID that matches your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test. Additionally, audience members will be required to wear a well-fitted mask covering mouth and nose inside all SDO performance venues (KN95 or KF94 masks are recommended).

Our collective safety requires all of us to work together. Before arriving to any in-person San Diego Opera performance, please perform a self-assessment. If you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not attend the performance. Our Patron Services Team will be happy to help you exchange your tickets for another time.

TICKET PROTECTION GUARANTEE
We are grateful for the continued support of the San Diego community. If San Diego Opera is unable to perform any of our spring productions or you are unable to attend due to health constraints, we will either exchange your tickets into another spring production, keep the value of your tickets on your account available for future use as you see fit, turn the value of your tickets into a donation to SD Opera, or refund the value of your tickets to you.
