About

The San Diego Opera Scenic Studio opened in 1965 to create scenery for the new San Diego Opera company. We rapidly earned a reputation for excellent work and began building for other opera and performing arts companies. Over those 60 plus years, the world of entertainment, marketing, and infotainment has changed and so has our Studio. We still build theatrical scenery. However, much of our work today is creating Industrial Scenery for everything from large scale rock concert tours to small scale brewery taps and every level in between.
